Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Collector’s Edition will be arriving late and will no longer include the game

Nintendo has released important updates regarding the distribution of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector’s Edition in Europe. Here are all the details.

The Collector’s Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will arrive late , i.e. after launch, and will no longer include the game . Nintendo confirmed this today with a tweet that reports important updates regarding the distribution in Europe of the contents of the special edition.

Below is the message released by the company:

Due to some logistical difficulties, we will not be able to open pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 before the game’s launch date on July 29th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

To give users the opportunity to purchase the game right away and start playing the game as of its release, we will be offering the Collector’s Edition content (artbook, steel case and illustrated packaging) separately at a price that  will not include Xenoblade Chronicles 3 software. .

This way, all users will have the opportunity to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at launch on July 29, and to pre-order Collector’s Edition content from My Nintendo Store in September.

Users who have already registered their interest will continue to receive updates on this product and will be among the first to be notified when pre-orders open in September.

According to reports from Nintendo, therefore, players will be able to start playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 from the launch and then purchase the contents of the Collector’s Edition separately at a price that does not include the game software. We remind you that the Collector’s Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will include a 250 page color artbook, the Masatsugu Saito illustration box and the exclusive steelbook.

As always, if you are interested you can subscribe to this address to receive an email when the pre-orders of the limited versions of the exclusive Switch are opened.
