Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will be removed from Steam on September 1, 2022, and even those who already own it will no longer be able to launch the game.
According to what is reported on the Steam page dedicated to the game, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will no longer be accessible on Steam starting from September 1, 2022. This means that even those who own the copy of the game will no longer be able to start it.
Ubisoft recently announced that starting September 1, 2022, it would shut down the servers of many games. We are talking about an operation that actually disables many DLCs and also making complete titles inaccessible that users will not be able to play, even if they have bought them.
At the moment, Liberation HD is still present on the pages of the Valve platform but it cannot be purchased in any way. And in addition, as we said, based on the decisions taken by Ubisoft, the game will no longer even be playable by those who already own it.
In any case, on PC the title remains available in Assassin’s Creed III Remastered , which also includes the spin-off starring Aveline de Grandpré.
