Todd Howard has stated that Starfield will be longer-lived than previous Bethesda titles. The main quest will in fact last between 30 and 40 hours
There are many details that are emerging in these hours on Starfield , the highly anticipated new sci-fi RPG from Bethesda. Todd Howard revealed to IGN’s microphones that the game will be 20% longer than the other titles of the software house and that it will keep players busy for a period of between 30 and 40 hours for the completion of the main quest alone.
The additional duration is to be attributed, Howard pointed out, to the presence of multiple main missions. Obviously, in Starfield, there will be so much to do that the player will be busy in hundreds of hours between completing side missions, exploring more than 1000 planets, creating and customizing their own spaceship and much more. .
Howard added that he acknowledges that fans love to play their games for a long, long time as there is always so much to do and explore. A possibility that will be expanded even more in Starfield with the arrival of extra post-launch content.
As we have seen in recent days, in Starfield there will be over 1000 planets to explore and 200 lines of dialogue. The game will also include a structured character editor, which promises absolute freedom in customizing our protagonist, with a layered system of skills and other technologies to develop.
Staying on the subject, Todd Howard recently confirmed that Fallout 5 will happen, but after the arrival of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6.
