Regarding the cancellation of the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS), Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ said, “There is nothing that any opposition party leader or politician or anyone from the public can say, ‘the government should have done this too’. Almost everything has been done,” he said.
Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ participated in the Ankara Kulisi program on Akit TV and answered the questions of journalist Sami Dadağlıoğlu. Minister Bozdag reminded that Turkey had paid a great price with its right-left and Alevi-Sunni divisions in the past and said, “We had to bury many of our precious children, and those who know the past well and live it closely will feel the pain of this deeply. The unity and solidarity of Turkey is based on the unity, peace, fraternity and peaceful life of each of our 82 million dear citizens. But unfortunately, we see that those who want to destroy the unity and peace of Turkey sometimes scratch our nation’s differences and sometimes our nation’s sensitivities on some issues.
We see them trying to scratch, we see the efforts, and we see concrete examples of them. Of course, the attacks on the cemevis in Ankara are extremely sad and smell very clearly of provocation. For this reason, first of all, I strongly condemn and curse this attack, the perpetrator and all those who support him.”
“I SEE IT LIKE DYNAMITES THROWED AT OUR UNITY AND DIRECTORY”
Minister Bozdağ stated the following regarding the attack on many cemevis and village associations on the first day of the Muharram fast on July 30:
“The attack on the cemevis is like an attack on the house of each individual of this nation. It is like an attack on the moral values of all of us. Because the cemevi is ours, the mosque is ours, the Alevis are ours, and the Sunni are ours.
Regardless of colour, language, race, gender, belief or philosophical view living in this country, each and every one of our citizens is our own child, we are all one, we are together. That’s why I see such attacks as dynamite thrown at our unity and peace. No one will be able to bring such mischief among the children of this nation. Of course, this is a very interesting event. Someone who lives in İzmir, there is a cemevi there, and if he thinks about such a thing, you see, he comes to Ankara. Even if I know the address from one place to another in Ankara, is it easily possible to commute within 45 minutes? Not possible. You see, he goes to three different places in 45 minutes, he takes action in three different places. He leaves after that. Those who do not know Ankara, do not have prior knowledge of these places or do not get the help of someone.
“OUR DUTY IS TO ENSURE THAT THE PERSON OR THE PERSONS, INSTITUTORS, WHO THEY ARE BEHIND FRONT AND WHO THEY ARE BEHIND, GIVE THEM THEIR DESIRABLE”
Stating that the judicial process will illuminate the answers to all questions regarding the Cemevi attacks, Bozdağ said, “The investigation continues with all its dimensions. I’m sure the truth will come out as a result of this investigation. To incite one part of the population against another. The work in this country has never ended in order to provoke some part of the nation with feelings of enmity and hatred towards the other part of the nation and set them against each other. It was there yesterday, it is there now, it will probably be in the future. But our duty is to be prudent and prudent in the face of such events, as is the case with our beloved nation, and to illuminate the truth of the matter in a short time. To enlighten our nation with the truth in this matter by clarifying the dark points, and to weigh the perpetrators or perpetrators of this business in front of their instigators and whoever is behind them on the scales of law,
“OUR PRESIDENT IMMEDIATELY INTERVENED THE SITUATION”
Evaluating the alleged leak of the Public Personnel Selection Exam ( KPSS ) questions and then the cancellation of the exam, Bozdağ said:
“First of all, the incident here is an important and major Incident. It is worth emphasizing that. Because it is an extremely important test for the future of tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of young people who take the exam. It is one of the duties of the state to do this in accordance with the principles of honesty and integrity. The state will ensure this, and there will be no shadows, doubts or concerns here, and there should be none. That’s why, due to the discussions that arose after the final exam, our President immediately intervened when situations that disturbed our citizens, cast doubt on our people’s hearts, and increased hesitations. What should be done , first of all OSYM. He dismissed his president. Yes, because it is important for the proper functioning of the investigation. He immediately activated the State Supervisory Board. Afterwards, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation to investigate and clarify the issue in all its dimensions, and a number of judicial decisions were taken and implemented in order to prevent the evidence from being blackened within the scope of the investigation. The President of ÖSYM has changed. A new ÖSYM President was appointed and it was decided to cancel the exam and hold a new exam.”
“NOTHING THAT SOMEONE IN THE PUBLIC CAN SAY THAT THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ALSO DO”
Minister Bozdağ emphasized that it is extremely important that the investigation is carried out both administratively by the State Supervisory Board and judicially by the prosecutor’s office, without leaving any room for doubt, doubt or shadow, and said, “Another thing is that all the efforts of our youth are not in vain. Steps have been taken to ensure that some do not achieve an unfair success and that everyone gets the result they deserve. The exam has been cancelled. Whatever the government had to do here, the government did it all one by one. There is nothing that any opposition party leader or politician or anyone from the public can say, ‘the government should have done this too’. Almost everything has been done,” he said.
“SERIOUS STEPS TO COLLECT EVIDENCE”
Reminding that the State Supervisory Board was in charge in the double investigation carried out on the alleged theft of KPSS questions, Bozdağ said, “A judicial investigation was initiated and serious steps were taken to collect the evidence, and in the next process, with this determination, whatever material truth is present in this event, will appear in size. Of course, there are those who have intentions, faults, and if some terrorist organizations have a hand in this or other things, if these are revealed with their evidence, no one should have any doubt that they will do what is necessary about them, that the scales of justice will weigh them accurately in this matter and give everyone what they deserve,” he said. .
