Franak Viacorka, adviser to Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, announced that 8 consecutive explosions occurred at the airbase south of the city of Gomel, close to the Ukrainian border.
The explosions occurred at the Zyabrovka base, located south of the city of Gomel, where Russian planes were located and took off during the Russia-Ukraine war that started on February 24.
Franak Viacorka, adviser to Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, said in a statement : “Eight Explosions occurred in a row at the Zyabrovka base in the Gomel region . Russian warplanes are usually stationed here. So far, whether these explosions are connected with any military exercises carried out on Belarusian territory by the Russian and Belarusian armies. “There is no confirmation that the Zyabrovka base is being used by Russian aviation in the war against Ukraine,” he said.

BELARUS DENIED: A FIRE IN THE TEST STUDY

According to the news of AFP, it was stated in the statement made by the ministry that the fire, which broke out due to the equipment igniting during a test operation, was extinguished in a timely manner, and it was stated that there was no loss of life.
