The Nile River State government stated that the main roads connecting the state to other cities have been eroded by the Flood .
Sudan National Civil Defense Council Spokesperson Brigadier General Abdul Jalil Abdul Rahim said that 2,845 of 5,345 houses partially collapsed and 16 public facilities completely collapsed due to flooding.
