Nicholas Evans, author of the book ‘The Horse Whisperer’, has died at the age of 72.
While his agency announced that the beloved writer died of A Heart Attack , the statement said, “He lived a full and happy life in his house on the banks of the Dart River in Devon.”

‘The Horse Whisperer ‘ , written by Evans in 1995, has sold 15 million copies worldwide and became a number one bestseller in 20 countries. The novel, which has been translated into 40 languages, has also been adapted into a movie produced and directed by Robert Redford.

Evans, who was diagnosed with skin cancer and defeated cancer while writing his world-famous book ‘The Horse Whisperer’, died in 2008 by accidentally eating poisonous mushrooms during his trip to the Scottish Highlands.
