Air Conditioning Industry Exporters’ Association (ISIB) participated as a sponsor to the Building Engineers Association Conference held in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, on 10 December.
Member of the Board of Directors, Cem Savcı, representing ISIB, attended the event held under the main theme of “Building Regulations for the Implementation of Green and Smart Buildings”.
The event was opened by ASHRAE Indonesia Chapter President Yongkie Tileno, within the scope of the conference, a presentation on the strengths of the Turkish Air Conditioning Industry, basic statistics, and the position and activities of ISIB was made by ISIB Board Member, Cem Savcı.
ASHRAE Indonesia Chapter President Yongkie Tileno and other visitors were informed about the Sectoral Trade Delegation program to be held in March 2023, who visited the promotional stand opened by ISIB in the event area.
One day before the event, Burak Avcı, Commercial Counselor of the Republic of Turkey, was visited at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Jakarta, and information was obtained from him about the general economic situation of Indonesia and the practices in trade, and information was exchanged on the Sectoral Trade Delegation program to be held in March.
ISIB Member of the Board of Directors Cem Savci, who stated that as ISIB, our participation in Indonesia was successful in order to show the inclusiveness and successful organizational structure of the Turkish air conditioning industry on product basis, said the following about the conference:
“With a population of 275 million, Indonesia is a very strategic country for the Turkish air conditioning industry. The country has a serious economic size with its richness of natural resources and strategic agricultural products. It shows its economic size in the field of foreign trade as well. There is a foreign trade volume with Turkey exceeding 2 billion dollars. We are constantly trying to increase our marketing and communication activities in Indonesia in order to increase the exports of our industry. Our sponsorship of the Building Engineers Association Conference is also a part of this vision. Next year, we will organize a Sectoral Commercial Delegation to this country in March, as well as a National Participation in Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia 2023 Fair, which will be held in September. We will continue to take part in these platforms on a global scale in order to develop our industry and increase its exports.”
