The turbulent period continues for Activision Blizzard , which now also finds itself without its president and COO.
The publisher of Call of Duty , with Modern Warfare 2 always available on Amazon at the best price, has been at the center of the world news of the tech sector for years.
With particular attention in recent months , due to the fight in which it is involved together with Sony and Microsoft , relating to the acquisition by the latter.
With the FTC which, in recent times, has been getting really sideways to prevent the deal from going through once and for all.

As if all that has happened so far weren’t enough, VGC reports that the president and COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Activision Blizzard will be leaving the company.
Daniel Alegre, who has held the role since 2020 , will leave effective March 31 , which is when his current employment contract expires.
Making this farewell even more paradoxical is the new job of Alegre, who will be CEO of an NFT company.
And not just any, because it’s Yuga Labs , the blockchain company behind the infamous digital monkey , aka the NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club.
Daniel Alegre also revealed himself enthusiastic about the new role:
“Since bursting onto the scene with Bored Ape Yacht Club in 2021, Yuga Labs has quickly made a name for itself through a powerful combination of storytelling and community building. The company’s pipeline of products, partnerships, and IP represents a huge opportunity to define the metaverse in a way that empowers creators and gives users true ownership of their identity and digital assets. I look forward to working with Yuga’s passionate and creative team to together innovate, inspire and shape the future of the Internet.”
And to think that, just a few days ago, Blizzard fans were able to rejoice in the return of Chris Metzen , who returns to World of Warcraft after so many years.
Speaking of Activision , however, the company has decided to turn off the taps to a game of Crash Bandicoot .
