ALD Automotive is one of the world leaders in the field of mobility and with the Hack the Christman campaign it aims to make its brand and its e-commerce platform known to video game enthusiasts.
For the occasion, ALD has created a special livery for the cars of Forza Horizon 5 , the undisputed leader in the racing game sector. Like all first party games from Microsoft, Forza Horizon 5 is also included with Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate memberships.

On the occasion of the Christmas holidays, ALD Automotive Italia, an international leader in sustainable mobility solutions and long-term rental, is launching the “Hack the Christmas” campaign, designed to fully enter the universe of video games.
Liveries inspired by the colors and with the ALD Automotive Italia logo will in fact be the protagonists of Forza Horizon 5, the Xbox-exclusive open world video game dedicated to the world of cars which has involved well over 20 million players in the first seven months of its launch and, according the survey conducted by YouGov for the British division of the Microsoft console, among the most used games during the 2021 Christmas holidays. The target audience of the campaign, whose leitmotif is “Hack the world of video games”, is the average 34-year-old gamer, used to shopping online, who according to YouGov habitually plays games during the holidays.
Thanks to the use of special liveries, to be applied free of charge to digital cars, the campaign aims to make users discover the ALD Automotive Italia e-commerce, a platform that allows a completely digital long-term rental experience, from customization to quote until the drafting of the contract.
The Forza Horizon 5 community will therefore be able to show off a series of liveries never seen before in the various in-game activities, activating a real digital word of mouth. The liveries will therefore be visible to all players engaged simultaneously on the same server and can be downloaded for free in the appropriate section of the game.
A real hacking that exploits a small «Bug». In fact, the Forza Horizon 5 reference guidelines do not prohibit the reproduction of logos or commercial offers in the customization of cars. The campaign will also be supported by an editorial plan on ALD’s social channels with the publication of “in game” videos and images with the special liveries created.
