The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced that the ships belonging to the country were kept in the strait by the Russian inspection teams.
In the statement made by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, it was stated that a total of 99 ships are on hold, including 73 ships going to Ukrainian ports for loading and 22 ships going to Africa, Asia and Europe.
According to the statement, 9 ships loaded with grain departed from Odessa Port in the last two days. On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that three Russian soldiers were killed in a drone attack by Ukraine on a military airbase in the south of Russia, where strategic bombers are located.
Tass agency’s report, which referred to the ministry, stated that none of the planes were damaged. With this attack, the Engels base in Russia’s Saratov region was hit for the second time this month.
In early December, Russia retaliated against Ukraine with air and sea-launched missiles against Ukraine’s energy and communications infrastructure.
