Construction production in the EU is increasing

Construction production in the Eurozone increased by 1.3 percent in October compared to the previous month. Among EU countries, the highest increase in construction production in October compared to the previous month was measured in Slovenia with 8.5 percent, Romania with 5.5 percent and Poland with 5 percent. The biggest decrease was determined in Hungary with 1.8 percent, Portugal and Finland with 0.7 percent and Sweden with 0.4 percent.

The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has published seasonally adjusted construction production data for the European Union (EU) and Eurozone for October.

Accordingly, construction production in the 19-member Eurozone increased by 1.3 percent in October compared to September. Construction production increased by 2.2 percent compared to October 2021.

In the EU, construction production increased by 1.3 percent in October compared to the previous month and by 2.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
