Poland’s economy is expected to grow in 2023. Making a statement on the subject, Polish Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda announced that they expect growth to be 1.5 percent. Inflation is expected to be around 12 percent.

Buda, who made a statement to RMF Radio in Poland, expressed his optimism about economic growth.
Buddha stated that the analysis showed the growth rate between 0.5 and 1.9 percent, “However, I believe it will be 1.5 percent.” said.
Inflation expected to be lower than 2022
Referring to inflation, Buddha stated that this rate will be lower than in 2022.
Minister Buda underlined that inflation will start to decrease especially in the second half of 2023, and noted that they expect annual average inflation to be around 12 percent.
Poland’s draft 2023 budget projects the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth of 1.7 percent and annual average inflation of 9.8 percent.
According to the Central Statistics Office, inflation in November was calculated at 17.5 percent annually.
Poland’s GDP grew by 3.6 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2022, after growth of 5.8 percent in the second quarter.
