Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed today in his Power On newsletter that Apple would be preparing for the September 14 iPhone launch event.
The Cupertino giant usually reveals new iPhones on the first or second Tuesday of September, and a previous rumor had said that we would see the phones on September 13 and this fit well with Labor Day theories. Legend has it that at Apple dislike having a three day weekend before a launch event and this year Labor Day is September 5th in the US, this hypothesis could be disproved this year as leaker Max Weinbach has heard from his sources that the iPhone 14 will be revealed on September 6 and the phones go on sale on September 16.
Whether the release dates will be staggered remains to be seen, but that shouldn’t be ruled out, considering the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max are said to have been affected by security issues . display and camera lens, and even the standoff between Taiwan and China could cause a delay.
It is very likely that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have a new front design and the always on display, the new A16 Bionic chip and a faster RAM , with a new main camera sensor and theoretically these updates could help them to outshine the best current phones, and therefore to assert any purchase.
Regular models look like incremental upgrades and may offer a better selfie camera and more base RAM than their 2021 counterparts.
