The Witcher 3 next-gen has just been released, despite the fact that players – especially PC ones – have run into numerous technical problems. Now, CDPR has released a new update to address some of these headaches.
The classic originally released several years ago, which you can also find on Amazon , has in fact been polished up on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as – precisely – on PC.
On Day One, several users had in fact reported some technical complaints in The Witcher 3 next-gen that could bring it closer to the problems that Cyberpunk 2077 had at launch.
Now, after the Polish developer shared a list of issues it was currently investigating , it’s time for the first Hotfix .
With a post published via social media, CD Projekt has in fact confirmed the release of an important update relating to the PC version of The Witcher 3 next-gen.
“We have just released a hotfix for The Witcher 3 on PC, which should improve overall stability and performance, and fix GOG and Steam overlays. The version of the game will not change ,” reads the original post
And again, the message continues: «Our teams are working to further improve the gaming experience on all platforms.» Just below, the tweet confirming the news.
