Twitter Blue users will be able to share 60-minute long-form videos on Twitter. This new feature, which Elon Musk first mentioned at the beginning of November, is offered to Twitter Blue users as of today.
According to information written in Twitter Blue’s help center , users will be able to stream 2GB videos with 1080p resolution, approximately 60 minutes long. It should be noted that users can only benefit from this feature in the web version for now.
Before this change, Twitter Blue subscribers could upload 10-minute videos with 1080p resolution with a 512MB limit. It’s worth noting that this limit still applies if you’re installing from iOS or Android.
Finally, he states that Twitter may reduce the video resolution to facilitate distribution depending on users’ internet speed. By including long-form videos on its platform, Twitter may start to appear in the increasing competition in recent years in the focus of video features of social networks.
